Join us on Thursdays at 5:00pm for an UNPLUGGED acoustic roundtable/jam night. Singers, song writers, and anyone is invited to play or play along. No band provided, just local musicians hanging out and doing what they love.

As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group.  Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in the Persian Gulf, Korea, Kosovo, the war on terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.

The Poppy: A Symbol of Remembrance and Hope

The poppy has long been a powerful symbol of remembrance for those who have served and sacrificed in military conflicts. Its significance is deeply tied to World War I and the iconic poem, In Flanders Fields, written by Lt. Col. John McCrae. (See comments for poem!!) The vibrant red poppies blooming on the battlefields of Flanders became a poignant reminder of the lives lost in the pursuit of freedom.
